I love Adriana's other cookbook, Best of Mexican Cooking, so I was really excited to see her write a cookbook dedicated solely to tacos. I wholeheartedly agree with her that tacos are life. She has taco recipes for every meal, including breakfast and dessert. I love that she again shares a list of pantry essentials in the front of the book, and I especially love that she shares how to make all the sauces and special ingredients that go along with tacos, like various types of salsa and guacamole and slaw (for fish tacos). You can even make drinks to serve on taco night or with your taco get together. My boys have gotten a little bored with my same old taco routine (and frankly, so have I), so I'm excited to liven it up a bit with Adriana's recipes. Most of the recipes look downright easy to make, with down to earth ingredients; for me, simple always wins, because life is just too busy for complicated. This book has amazing taco recipes, good sauces to top them off with and plenty of sides. You can mix and match so definitely as you get creative there's a lot more options of tacos you can come up with. There's some drink recipes to accompany your tacos too:)). I absolutely love Adriana Martin's "Best of Mexican Cooking" book so I knew this book would be equally awesome. Tacos are a regular menu item in our house, and though we do mix up our proteins and toppings, there are lots of things in this book that I can't wait to try. I'm especially excited about the Korean-Style Beef Tacos, among several others! The dessert section is also really exciting, haha. :) It's fun to see all of the different combinations throughout the recipes, the options really are endless. The recipes are simple and easy too - with great instructions. I'm not sure what kind of tacos to have next, and that's an okay problem to have! ( Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2021 )

If you like tacos, and who doesn't, you will love these recipes. They're a fantastic mix of traditional and fusion foods. There are recipes ranging from breakfast tacos to dessert tacos, and Poke Tuna Tacos to Greek Style Pork tacos. There is so much flavor ready to explode in these pages. I think it's a cookbook that both novice and advanced cooks will love. Adrianna also provides salsa and spice mix recipes along with some fantastic drinks to serve with your tacos.
